Ahead of rainy season, water channel in National Monument (Monas) area, Central Jakarta, were cleaned. Personnel clean up mud sedimentation and trash which clogged the channel.
Thus it can prevent any inundation at Monas and its surrounding areas
"Monas is closed on Monday, we deploy 200 personnel on communal work with focus to clean the water channel," said Munjirin, Head of Monas UPK, Monday (9/18).
He added, clogged water channel will be cleaned to make it enable again. Thus when the rain fall intensity is high, water can flow smoothly.
